- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup (240 ml) beef broth
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer the beef to the slow cooker and add the beans, tomatoes, onion, garlic, bell pepper, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and beef broth.
- Stir everything together until well combined.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Adjust seasoning to taste before serving. Enjoy!

- Serve with cornbread or over rice for a complete meal.
- Feel free to add hot sauce for an extra kick.
